Alexia achieved her Masters of Osteopathy from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy (BSO), London. She is known for her caring nature and ability to easily explain your problem to you. Alexia has experience treating a wide variety of conditions, including low back and neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, knee pain, and foot and ankle pain. As an Osteopath, her focus is the musculo-skeletal component of your condition. She has experience treating young children, the elderly and everyone in between! Alexia’s treatments focus on both managing current symptoms and preventing future episodes. In her sessions she employs a variety of techniques, including stretching, articulation, soft tissue massage, cranial techniques, joint manipulation, and myofascial needling. The mind-body connection is one of her key interests, and where appropriate, she may suggest lifestyle modifications or approaches that assist and enhance your recovery. Alexia is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of Osteopathy Australia.
Dr Laura Seymour
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, BHthSc (Chin. Med)
Laura is a Northern Beaches local with a passion for natural therapies and supporting active and healthy living. She has a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and completed an internship at the prestigious Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Laura has experience treating a wide range of patients with a variety of conditions. Women’s health, fertility, pregnancy support, and general wellbeing are amongst her key interests. She takes a holistic approach, by addressing the underlying cause of the condition, as well as the symptoms. Laura tailors each treatment to the individual according to their needs. In her treatments she uses a combination of techniques including Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, Electro-acupuncture, Moxabustion, Cupping, Gua sha and Tuina (Chinese massage). Laura is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of AACMA.
Lesley is a lifelong Northern Beaches local who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. She is an integral part of our team, and when she’s not playing golf or swimming in the ocean pool Lesley is available to answer any questions you may have about the clinic and help guide you towards the right practitioner for your needs.
